Sometimes you wanna hear hip-hop but you want it to be something you can relate too, so that’s where people like Drake come in. Not all the rappers can go hard all the time about weed, hoes, bling, whips, clothing, sneakers, violence, crime and all that. (No disrespect though I actually admire both Jarule And X-Zibit). Y’know some real hardcore, we-in-the-hood, we-so-ghetto, I-run-the-hood type of rap and not everybody can get along with that. I think everyone has stereotyped the image of a rapper, the ideal rapper or rap artiste is expected to be a DMX prototype who’ll start barking like an over-excited dog once you turn up your head-phones or a cross between Ja-Rule and X-Zibit. Those reasons are not in any way legit so if you were thinking along those lines, I’ll point out a few reasons why you shouldn’t be thinking that. Did I say kinda? Naah scratch that, it annoyed me! Big time! Like crazy! I mean why on earth can Drake not be called a rapper anymore? Because of his ‘Take Care’ album or because of the fact that he’s in touch with his feminine side or he sings or maybe its because a majority of his popular songs are about females and heartbreaks and emotions? To me that shouldn’t mean he can’t be called a rapper. Okay y’all, I came across this article that said people couldn’t decide if Drake belonged to the rap genre anymore, and to be honest it kinda irked me. These were the times I discovered Drizzy and whenever I hear it, it still makes me fall deeper and deeper for hip-hop! Amaziiiing, the both of them <33333! And then my nigga Drake sampled her instrumental ^.^, talk about bliss, ear-gasms of major proportions once it comes on yo! Incase you were wondering, Drake’s version still bears the same title ‘Closer To My Dreams’. I really love this song, been my best material from her ever since I discovered her music. It warms my heart and it’s heaven to my ears. Everything about this song makes me alive and serene.

I really admire her ethereal and down to earth appearance. Besides she rarely releases new material and her lyrics aren’t all that fantastic, but no doubt she has majoor talent. And like most people who say Goapele is underrated, I don’t think she is, she just makes music that isn’t commercial, y’knoww like for real soul music fans. Lol basically when you’re a baby and you don’t know what a song means and the mood just makes you sad and even though you love the song, you just can’t help but cry when you hear it. A really old song, I used to tear up hearing it back in ’03. But that's ok Eminem is just proving he really is a bitter pop star bully who is "Obsessed" with her and all he can do is talk shit behind a studio, karma will take care of him. This song is basically the definition of soul. That's why I wish Mariah didn't respond to him anymore after her "Clown" song, that diss was good enough. Nick should not respond because that would bring him negative publicity and he doesn't need that hosting a prime time show and being an executive at Nickelodeon, if something gets out of hand that could cost him his jobs and only bring more attention to Eminem which he doesn't need. He's getting right back at her hoping this will get people interested in him again, because so many people have declared him officially played out with that hot mess of a Relapse album. He doesn't even a have a hit on the charts right now and he's salty about it. The truth is, Eminem is pissed Obsessed is becoming a hit on the Hot 100 and his ego is bruised that people love her diss song. He is such a loser, pouting about someone who won't claim him of a relationship that was 7 years ago. Wendy needs to shut up she doesn't even know the facts and that includes several other people in here after people have already explained many times Eminem started the whole thing on several albums and Mariah only responded twice after hearing 2 of his disses.
